Rene Marie Russo was an American actress, director, and supermodel. The stunning elegance of Rene Marie can be seen through her extensive career as a performer and actress. In the 70s, she started modeling which quickly made her a recognizable name in the business. In the early 1990s she began to study the theatre and acting. Later, she moved to Los Angeles and California she had her first appearance on stage. For the year 1987 Russo was the lead character Eden Kendell on ABC's show Sable. Two years later she played Tom Berengers love interest in her first movie Major League. Initially skeptical about her capability as an actress the critics were won over due to her consistent performance. Her performance in Wolfgang Petersens Outbreak was a favorite of critics, as she stood in the way of Dustin Hoffman or Morgan Freeman. In spite of this, she admits that she is not passionate about the acting. Following a long break that she took on herself in 2005. Then she returned through a role in the superhero flick Thor. She also appeared in the Oscar winning film Nightcrawler with her husband. Later, she would star in light-hearted comedies including The Intern and Just Getting Started.
Rose Namajunas is one of the most successful female athletes within the UFC. Her career began by becoming an amateur fighter taking part in numerous regional promotions before signing up with Invicta Fighting Championships and later becoming a member of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). After joining the UFC the fighter has quickly become known as a household name because of her achievements both in and out of the octagon. Namajunas was a Lithuanian who immigrated to the United States. She was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on June 29, 1992. Rose participated in kickboxing and basketball throughout her childhood. At 18 years old she was able to make her debut as a professional fighter at Invicta Fighting Championships at which she won two fights by submission. The fights caught the eye of Dana White who signed her for UFC's strawweight division December of 2014, when she was just twenty-two years of age. Through Rose s career she has been through periods of extremes and lows, but every times she has come out ahead. The month of April was when Rose fought Carla Esparza for the inaugural Women s Strawweight Championship at The Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale in which she was victorious by technical knockout in less than three seconds into the first round One and not just champion but getting the honor of being named Fighter Of The Night along and making history in MMA in that this bout was the for the first time in history that woman competed for a championship title within any large promotion company in the world . Namajunas kept winning wins, including two victories against Joanna Jedrzejczyk that earned her an award for the Best Performance of The Night at UFC.
