Rene Marie Russo was an American actor, filmmaker, and supermodel. Her elegant and beautiful beauty Marie can be seen in her long-lasting career as an actress and performer. Her career began as a model in the 1970s. She quickly rose to a high level in the fashion industry. Beginning in the decade that followed, she pursued studies in theatre and acting before performing on stage on stage in Los Angeles and elsewhere in California. Russo made her screen debut on ABCs drama series Sable in 1987, playing the character Eden Kendell. She was Tom Berengers' love interest two years later with Major League, her debut movie. At first, she was skeptical of her capabilities as an actress, the critics were impressed due to her consistent performance. They were especially impressed with her performance in Wolfgang Petersens Outbreak In which she fought her own against the likes as Dustin Hoffman and Morgan Freeman. But, as she admits she's never really been that passionate about acting. She took an extended self-imposed hiatus. In the film Thor it was her return to her acting. Also, she was in the Oscar winning film Nightcrawler which was directed by her husband. The Intern, and Just Getting Started were comedy films with humor with her as the main character.
Rose Namajunas is one of the female athletes with the highest success within the UFC. She started her career in amateur fights, in which she participated in various regional promotions. Later on she signed with Invicta Fighting Championships before joining Ultimate Fighting Championships (UFC). After her entry into the UFC She has become an international star due to her success inside and outside of the octagon. Namajunas an immigrant from Lithuania, was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on the 29th of June, 1992. Rose participated in kickboxing and basketball throughout her childhood. She first made it to the ring as a professional at the age of 18 for Invicta Fighting Championships at which she won two matches by submission. Dana White was impressed and signed Rose to the UFC's strawweight division aged 22 years of age in December of 2014. Throughout Rose's time in the sport, she's experienced periods of levels of highs and lows while each times she has come out ahead. Rose fought Carla Esparza at The Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale in April of 2015. The winner was awarded the Women s Strawweight Championship and as well, was awarded Fighter of The Night. This was the first time a woman was a part of a big promotion title. Namajunas was able to record many additional wins, including two wins over Joanna Jedrzejczyk that earned her an award for the Best Performance of The Night at UFC.
