Rene Marie Russo was an American actor, filmmaker and supermodel. Known for her elegant beauty her endurance in the popular film industry speaks to her skills and talent as a performer. Her professional career started out as a model in the 1970s. Her rise quickly to prominence in this field. The beginning of her second decade of study, she was studying acting and theatre before appearing on the stage at Los Angeles and elsewhere in California. Rose Namajunas, one of the most well-known female UFC athletes, is an accomplished athlete. Her career began in amateur boxing, where she was a part of various regional promotions. Then she enlisted with Invicta Fighting Championships before joining Ultimate Fighting Championships (UFC). She has had success both inside and out in the Octagon has helped make her an international brand after she entered the UFC. Namajunas is a Lithuanian immigrant who was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on June 29, 1992. While growing up, Rose was involved in activities like basketball and kickboxing. Her first appearance as a professional fighter at the age of 18 for Invicta Fighting Championships, where she took home two fights via submission. Dana White noticed this and in December 2014, at 22 years old, she signed Rose for UFC's strawweight Division. All through Rose's time in the sport, she's gone through periods of both highs and lows but each victory has been hers. Rose took on Carla Esparza in April 2015 for the Women's Strawweight title. Rose won the bout via technical knockout in just 3 minutes of the opening round. It was the first ever time a woman competed against a title champion in any of the major promotions in the world. After this win, Namajunas was able to have a number of more successful fights including defeating Joanna Jedrzejczyk twice which earned her Performance Of The Night honors from UFC after these wins .
