Dana White noticed this and on December 14, 2014, at the age of 22, Rose signed with the UFC's strawweight Division. The career of Rose has been full of extremes, as well as lows and she's in a position to emerge from her fights on top. In April 2015 Rose took on Carla Esparza for the inaugural Women s Strawweight Championship at The Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale in which she was victorious by technical knockout in less than three minutes in Round One which resulted in not only winning the title but also being named Fighter Of The Night along making history in MMA since this match was the first time ever that a women competed for a championship title in any significant promotion organisation in the world . Namajunas then went on to win a few other fights. She also took on Joanna Jedrzejczyk two times, which earned her Performance Of The Night awards from UFC.
