Rene Marie Russo, an American actress and filmmaker who was previously a supermodel, is now a film director. The stunning elegance of Rene Marie is evident in her long-lasting career as an actor and actress. She started her career modeling in the 1970s, but soon she became one of the most prominent model actors. She pursued studies in theatre and acting from the beginning of the decade before appearing on stages in Los Angeles, and other areas of California. Her screen debut came in ABCs 1989 drama Sable in which she was Eden Kendell. She played Tom Berengers' love interest two years later on Major League, her debut movie. Critics were initially skeptical of her talent as an actor but her consistent performances made them believe in her. Her performance in Wolfgang Petersens Outbreak was praised by reviewers, since she stood tall against Dustin Hoffman or Morgan Freeman. She has admitted that she's never really been that passionate about acting. After a long hiatus that she took on herself the role in 2005. She then made a comeback through a role in the movie about superheroes Thor. The film also featured her in the Oscar winning film Nightcrawler which was directed by her husband. The Intern was her first humorous comedy. She went on to make appearances in Just Getting Started and other comedy films.
Rose Namajunas has been one of UFC's most prominent female athletes. Her early days were spent as an amateur boxer who competed in regional promotions prior to signing with Invicta Fighting Championships. Then she signed up for in the Ultimate Fighting Championships. After joining the UFC the fighter has quickly become an international star due to her success inside and outside of the Octagon. Namajunas an immigrant from Lithuania, was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on the 29th of June, 1992. Growing up, Rose was involved in games like basketball or kickboxing. At 18 years old she made her professional debut for Invicta Fighting Championships in which she won two fights through submission. The fights caught the eye of Dana White who signed her to be a part of the UFC's strawweight division December 2014 at just 22 years old. Rose has been through highs as well as lows in her career yet she always emerges with a victory. In April 2015 Rose defeated Carla Esparza for the inaugural Women s Strawweight Championship at The Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale that she won via technical knockout just 3 seconds into the first round One and not just successful in winning the title but being named Fighter Of The Night along making history in MMA because this was the first time ever that a woman was a champion for a title within any large promotion company in the world . Namajunas continued to have many wins, including two wins over Joanna Jedrzejczyk that earned her an award for the Best Performance of The Night at UFC.
