She was awarded her the Women s Strawweight Championship and she also took home the Fighter of the Night. This was the first time a female wrestled in a major promotion title. The victory was followed by a resounding win. Namajunas was able to have a number of other victories in which she defeated Joanna Jedrzejczyk twice which earned her Performance Of The Night honors from UFC following these victories .
